WCC Rivals – the world’s first full-fledged multiplayer cricket game on mobile – was part of DreamHack Delhi 2019. It was great participating in the “World’s largest LAN party and computer festival” as per Guinness World Records. For three days, from Dec 6th to 8th at NSIC Grounds, WCC fans, cricket lovers and complete strangers thronged to the curiosity that was the WCC Rivals zone. WCC Rivals united DreamHack visitors and organizers, kids and adults, anime cosplayers and volunteers, PUBG soldiers and Tekken fighters, and even other stall exhibitors! It was truly special to see so many people… each of whom had come to DreamHack for different reasons… all come together as bowlers, batsmen and fielders playing real and mobile cricket!

WCC Rivals, the first full-featured 1v1 multiplayer cricket game secured runner-up at Indian Gaming Developers Conference (IGDC) Awards 2019, India’s biggest and prestigious game industry event. The awards event was held on November 23rd at International Convention Centre, Hyderabad. WCC Rivals in its beta version won two awards , one being the Runner-up ‘Studio Game of the Year’ at IGDC 2019 and the other being the BEST LIVE GAME award at GATO’19 organised by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in April 2019.

Madurai’s first cricket eSports tournament featured WCC Rivals, the first, full-featured multiplayer cricket game on mobile platform. The two-day eSports tournament held on April 27th and 28th, 2019 had avid gamers competing against each other to win the WCC Rivals Madurai Championship title and for the prize pool of Rs. 50, 000 .

WCC Rivals the first, full-fledged cricket multiplayer on mobile was a head turner at the eSports Tournament held on March 23rd and 24th at Chennai. Large participation from gamers across South India made this tournament a great hit.

WCC Rivals tournament was held on 12thand 13th of September at Christ University. Over the two day event, it was a delight to witness young gamers participate in a competitive 1v1 tournament format. Every individual winner of qualifier round was given exciting merchandises from WCC Rivals. And those who won the finals bagged a Cricket Kit along with trophies. Each day of the event had qualifiers and a final round.
